Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) is the apex body of plumbing professionals in India. Set-up with the objective to promote developments in plumbing and building services industry, IPA has successfully created a forum for exchange of ideas and dissemination of information amongst its members. IPA is a member of the World Plumbing Council and encourages its members to achieve and maintain high standards of workmanship. The mission and vision of IPA can be best described as “Better Plumbing for Better Living”. IPA has more than 1,600 members, across the country from every segment of the building industry including consultancy, manufacturing, contracting, trading, academics, government agencies, architecture etc. IPA, in collaboration with IAPMO India, has launched ambitious initiatives: publication of the Uniform Plumbing Code – India (UPC-I); Green Plumbing Code Supplement – India (GPCS-I) as well as Uniform Swimming Pool Code - India (USPC-I); Plumbing Education to Employment Programme (PEEP) and Green Plumbers Training & Accreditation Programme. These initiatives are bound to create a far-reaching impact on plumbing practices in India. Headquartered at New Delhi, IPA has eleven chapters located at New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Kerala, Gujarat, Jaipur, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Coimbatore.

AIM, jointly with the Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects (GICEA) organises Gujarat's largest exhibition of building materials, home décor products and construction equipment – NIRMAN (www.nirman.biz) at Ahmedabad, every year. AIMEX has also joined hands with IIID Mumbai Regional Chapter (IIID MRC) to co-organise the highly successful design show – IIID SHOWCASE ( www.iiidshowcase.in ). Its 21st edition - IIID SHOWCASE 2012 will be organised at Mumbai between 23-25 March, 2012.
